Sushmit Sriram, India
Style: shakehander, offensive block player
Blade: Donic Ovtcharov Carbospeed or Baum Carrera Senso or Xiom Amadeus :)
FH: Spectol 21
BH: Dr.N. Gorilla 1.3 (old one without ABS sponge)

so, i discovered this guy recently which nobody knew of which is strange bcs he is playing at top level...he is a carbon copy of our friend AA, but i dont know who copied who :D

he is also playing with short pips on FH and fanti on BH...a friend of mine who was on the same Challenger told me that he is playing with Dr. N. Gorilla and short pips, but that is not confirmed information, so, if we have some Indian friends on the forum that know him it would be great, because i think we will hear about this guy more, he is playing with fanti at a very high level...

here is the video of my countryman Koic lost to him on the German Challenger, it was painful to watch :D

Wow what a great find!

I'm not so sure he's using frictionless... That upward stroke when blocking loops is almost exactly like one of the local 2000+ players who uses AntiPower instead.

His forehand serve seems to border on the hidden.

Forehand rubber should be Spectol, if the German forum is correct.

Great! I have heard something about this dude at the German forum. But I wouldn't say he plays that similar to Amir. The poor opponent (I am sure he normally is a good player) really had no idea what to do against the anti. It would be very interesting to see what this anti-user does against a more anti-experienced opponent.

i notice that he chops with the anti at times.(there is hope for me yet)

My coach who is also from India knows Sushmit very well and connected me with him so we had a brief phone conversation. Of course, I asked him about his equipment. He plays with Gorilla and Spectol 21 on forehand. He was using Donic Ovtcharov Carbospeed recently but is now trying Baum Carrera Senso.

Yes indeed! It's the fastest one and not really controllable for us regular mortals.
