DEVILISH JAPAN CHOPPER.

https://youtube.com/shorts/H2wXhxHyxEg? ... Mv8BQhzL3S

This is an amazing sideway chopping motion. Haruna Ojio displays her superior chopping mastery, never seen before.

Actually she has performed corkscrew rotation on the ball, the most evil and destructive rotation ever developed by a chopper.

@2:56 and the point after that.
It is definitely SP :)

The sound of the racket seems like a thick sponge, mostly SP chopper use a thicker sponge, suppose it is SP like Spectol, does anyone know which thickness it might be? It is interesting to get good and solid control on backhand Chops whether using which rubbers (Lp, Sp, Mp, or even inverted) but Sun Yang's ability, and compatibility with his equipment is an interesting topic for us Choppers

It doesn't matter. He never done this before. At least not so many times in one match. Probably in this match he was feeling safe enough to take a risk

If you know next year you have to change rubber anyway why to wait? Why from beginning you don't take rubber that won't need to change in 1 year?

Supposedly Sun Yang has changed to Victas Spectol S1 1.6mm recently.

I would say not an OX because of the sound, maybe with sponge?
