Here's some new stuff on Youtube. Seems this guy is using frictionless, which is still allowed in England. Must be nice.

Thanks, MNNB, Clark is so much better, he can hit winners anywhere, backhand or forehand.

I suspect he will find things more difficult next year when local leagues can no longer decide to allow this rubber.

I posted those on YouTube and know Phil well. It is frictionless and our league applied the 12 month grace period for using frictionless pimples so it is legal for play with FLP's in our league - for now. We're still waiting to see what the ETTA decide ie whether to extend the 12 months or not. It runs out in June. We run relaxed fun summer nights which will give Phil chance to try out alternatives before the "proper" winter league starts in September.

Andy and Phil are top of our premier league averages and have lost the same number of games. Ironically, Melodye who is the girl Phil is beating, beat Andy in the final of our premier league divisional singles comp. Ronnie, who Melodye beat to get to play Phil also beat Andy a couple of weeks ago in our Premier Divisional Team Final. Phil has beaten all the players including Andy. On any given day, most of our top players can all beat each other - just happened to be Andy's day on this occasion.
