Even though I am very fond of Wang Xi, I must say that I am a little proud that Sweden managed to generate such a good player as Anton Källberg. He did really good in this difficult match. He is only 19 or 20 years old.

I propose we ban DA from this forum. Motivation: treachery toward the Dark Side.
He did well, but Wang should have won after being 2-0 ahead.

He he... I do agree Wang should have won when he had match point. But not his first loss like that I believe...

He's not doing too well since the previous season. Plastic ball?

Probably. Change of pips? Blade? Or just getting old :)

guys u must know there are 2 kinds of plastic balls just from butterfly

Butterfly 40+ (its older version)
Butterfly G40+ (its newest version)

2-3 times per month i'm practicing on same hall with TOP200 WR players and i talk with them a lot.
i have spoke with Gionis and Pattantyus, they both complain about G40+
it's faster, higher bounce, less spin, its louder (higher pitch sound)
i agree with them as well, done some test with my club's manager/coach

some clubs are using 40+ and some G40+

Is there still no news on the blade Wang Xi is using now? I've never seen a blade like it.

It's probably a joo blade with a random donic handle on it to appease his sponsors.

I had direct messages with Thomas Keinath yesterday and he trains with Wang Xi everyday.

He tells me that Wang is using tsp pimples and a Haifu forehand rubber. And that he is using a blade from Taiwan with no name, but has a slower backhand side compared to the forehand side.
