She played very well indeed. Any one know if she is still using Joola Amy? I wonder she will try Nightmare Anti. I also like her wide angle forehand "slap" when her opponent loop to her forehand.

She is competing for Austria in Hungarian Open (she won both her matches in her qualification group easily):

Can this video be downloaded?, if so how? thanks,
tOD

I tried the download helper on FireFox to no avail, it seems to work fine for others. I was wrong it didn't work to copy AS's ITTF video. So still looking for help.

If you were using Internet Explorer, I'd suggest iWisoft Video Downloader. It's completely free and it works great. But if you're going to use it, make sure you download only one vid at the time (otherwise it crashes - well, that happened to me).

I'm using Firefox at the moment and to download ITTF vids I'm using Replay Media Catcher. You need to pay for it. Off course, there are ways to get a payed program for free, if you know your way into those things.

The Olympics allows citizens of a country to compete. It is strictly an ITTF policy to deny athletes the right to represent their countries for ITTF world championships.

The IOC waiting period is only if you've previously competed in the Olympics for another country. For example, Canada's top player Wang Zhen just got his citizenship in the last few weeks if he's playing in this weekend's NA qualifier.

For ITTF world championships and world cups, the ITTF bans any player over 21 to ever play for another country's national team. The ETTU does the same thing for Euro championships. Under 21 there's a long waiting period.

An allowance for age, I believe.

I am tickled that she will be playing for a variety of reasons.

I can only hope now for some poetic justice against the German team...an old man and his foolish dreams.
