Yes very nice! I love the deep and heavy chops he does with the LPs... The grip of the pips would really help there...

Thanks MNNB: Enjoyed the videos because he plays in a more similar style to me than the likes of Chen and Joo. It's good to watch his choice of shots, footwork and his LP technique as he's setting up the rally for the kind of shot I want to play next too. The technique and structure is a lot more relevant to me. I'll watch them again.

Ohh, we won the two matches... impressive. I used to see him loosing :(

I'd like to chop like him. He's good at her choice.

Greetings

Patrick Baum, the guy Chtchetinine beat in the first match above, is in the final of this week's ITTF tournament in Japan. That's a good win for a classic chopper like Chtchetinine. Baum will play Oh Sang Eun, by the way.

Are you sure? I can't imagine him with 1mm. Too slow to be able to attack sometimes.

Matsushita was a bit better, but he isn't in the ranking now :?

fotta I believe those sponge thickness measurements are correct, i have seen similar ones in other places. I believe I saw that he uses 1.2 on his FH somewhere else, but that isnt much difference. This guy is definitely my favorite player because his style is so much like mine.

antipip: do you have any videos of you playing on the internet? I would love to watch you play, because it sounds like we have similar styles of play.

Here is a cool team match video with two Chtchetinine matches and two Hou Yingchoa(inv,sp chopper) matches. One against each other.

See just how bad Chtchetinine's attack is. Only pushing duel I've ever seen between world class(or even national class) men.

edit-misspelled 2!

It's more important to kown how to do a top-spin than to have a quick rubber. Evgueni doens't know how to do top-spin very well, I think.

Greetings

No I don't sorry. No-one to put a video on with and I'm not sure i'd want to anyway at the moment. Movement limited with a weak calf muscle, excess weight and on top of that i'm useless with friction rubbers. If I do get a video and put it up i'll send you a link.

bcbcbc good video again, you and mnnb seem to find a few between you.
