Thanks Lorre! Gionis seemed to miss lots of attacks. Wonder why, perhaps he just had a bad day, or a good opponent :) . But his BH-defence looks very solid :clap: .

Solid indeed, but quite harmless. I've found his style more unorthodox than a couple of years ago.

I didn't see this video, but watched some other vid of him. It's his technique. It's hard to explain, but sometimes he takes spin of the ball instead of adding to it while chopping. At my club there's also a guy who chops that way. Conincidence or not, both Giuonis and the guy mentioned smash the ball, but don't loop it like most defenders when converting from defense to attack.
