Instead of relying on his own power, he's what we call in China a classic "power borrower". It's very pleasing to watch, but too predictable for seasonal opponents.

I suppose the software isn't known enough to be embedded.

I wanna know what Gionis took before all his matches. I want to use that stuff too! I've never seen him play this good.

I just watched Gionis beat Gardos (not an easy match, Gardos is great against defence) at the same time as I watched Sweden beat Austria in soccer (qualification for the World Champs) :D :D :D
I must say I am very impressed by the determination of Gionis. He did not have his best day, his FH attack did not seem to work or Gardos made it not work. But he kept choping and chopping until Gardos (after like 10 slow spinny controlled loops) netted the ball. Gardos was in a huge lead 3-1 and like 8-5 when Gionis called time out. He got back and finally won that set and and the next one with 12-10. He was in a great lead in the deciding whenn Gardos called time out and then he evened the score. But he wasn't strong enough to outloop Gionis and Gionis finally got his FH working. He won 11-6 in 7th game    . After this I think (hope) he will go very far. If he beats Skachkov he will vahe Baum or Apolonia. I would prefer the latter who sucks against defence, but he beat Baum just a few days ago in a heroic manner, that might help. Then he would be in semi final, probably against Samsonov who he normally would loose to, but he won two Days ago... Or Tan Ruiwu will cause Samsonov too much troubles... That I think would be as hard as Sammy for Gionis. Ruiwu's SP will cause Gionis problems. If he wins there he will face Ovtcharov again.... And then it is time for a new post :-)

Cheers!

What material is Gionis using these days? According to Japsko he uses Feint III 1,1 mm. Could that be? I would guess for something less grippy. Tenergy 05 on FH seems correct though. Can't wait for him to play Samsonov again tomorrow, but I am not sure he will win. Sammy is probably a lot better now an Gionis did not seem to be that strong and confident against Apolonia as he could be.
