It's not always that easy though is it :D I would say against decent players that 50% of the time I'm unable to "force" an attacking shot (without majorly compromising myself in terms of positioning) from my serve. If you serve long, the opponent attacks. If you serve shot, they touch it back to your backhand. How do you get someone of Chuang's calibre to give you a ball to attack (as a pimples player)?

Chuang played wildly. Usually when the attacking player is going to lose you don't need to attack to win! They are usually nervous and are tense and their attacking is far less effective....but he wasn't even phased by the score! He just killed it!!! Unexpected!

Still, my alert during the game said after two points in defense: it's time to force the final point.

He was able to do it during the previous set. It didn't have to that hard too: a loaded ball to the pocket would probably be effective enough.

Chuang had great last 6 balls.... but IMHO joo played weakly, the choice of defending was ok to me at 10-6 (when chuang was shaken he lost badly 80% of points vs defence), but it seemed he didn't play good balls and chuang was brave enough to attack wildly, but he couldn't have done it if the defence was better.
But after the 2 points i think at least one or both serves on 10-8 had to be used to try something different, he had done quite a bit of points in the match with 3rd ball (i watched the whole match)

Hi guys, i don't know if this works outside Italy, but italian national tv (RAI) had full online streaming for every olympic event.
Try here:

http://www.rai.it/rio2016/

There are both full matches and short summaries.
I was able to watch korea's semifinal and 3rd place match there...
I felt a bit sad for Joo this time, expecially against Germany
