I can't describe how disappointed to see she uses SP instead of LP on her BH. Much more disappointing than her not using her signature blade. Ugh! She sure looks like a LP chopper on the videos.

Could it be that you are disappointed she is not using her signature blade, because you have them? Made you think they might not be so great? Don't worry about this... i use a very cheap def blade I found to be better than most expensive blades.

I don't see why her use of SP instead of LP should disappoint anyone.
I consider SP more creative than LP.

Women and men play different, the women tend not too have a greater a force on their loop as the men, so SP or even inverted in thinner sponge works as good... plus they can create a heavier spin chop.

it's true that the women game doesn't rely on speed that much and so it's easier for then to chop at a lower speed this making the use of sh a benefit, but i don't think that's the main reason, if you look back at the fathers of defense (ie Ding Song and Chen Xinhua) you will see they also use sp, i think this is just the school of china

there seems to be a tendency of Chinese players to play defense with sp. Japanese and European defenders use LP. Of course there are some Chinese that use LP, but most Chinese defenders i've seen use SP.
