He played a "vs. defence" game perfectly there, in my opinion. Loads of third ball attacks into really difficult positions for Chen. It made Chen's chopping look fairly awful, to be honest!

Chen Weixing is the same age that Koji Matsushita was when he retired. Joo Se Hyuk is 8 years younger than Chen Weixing and he said in the OOAK interview that he plans on retiring next year. I wonder if CW plans on stepping down soon, or if he'll do the Waldner thing and continue to compete until he starts losing to players outside of the top 200.

I guess if you love table tennis, you love table tennis :) I'd imagine he'll continue to play as long as teams want him to play, then probably play in individual tournaments for some time after that!

I'll be sad to see him go, he's a real character.
