How do you know it's 1.5 mm, not 1 mm?

I compared the sponge on this video and on my rubber. I have 1.0 and 1.5 mm P1R. It is thicker sponge than 1.0 mm. (8:43 video) :)

I have no idea if he changes it but the one I hit with was 1.00 mm.

But I don't think he did change. Changing from 1 to 1.5 is quite a big change for someone who has played for years.

Chen Weixing played recently in the 2009 Korea Open. Someone posted this on Megaupload: Him against Chuan Chih-Yuan over MyTT.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6PPNOVWQ

I found the first set to somewhat funny -- I think he drove Chuan crazy that first set! Dominating performance! :D

A couple of extremely nice chops here and there.

That's quite possible but not 100% sure. Not even sure it's a P1-R.
Anyway, I'm not a big fan of who uses what so I don't really care if I'm right or wrong. Just offer what I experienced, hitting with his racket for 20 mins.

It is P1R 100% :)
I am wrote it for this topic. And I am not use JOOLA Express One or Haifu Blue Whale III like Weixing, but 1.5 mm P1R and BTY Defence II really good for my game ;) Chen uses Japan version of Express One. It is different rubber compared Express One (for European market)

Great and clear picture, thanks Chen_Max88!

That long pimple sponge looks awefully thin... 1.0mm or even less???
