Tomorrow!
But what a waste to have two defenders play each others. There should be a rule against that.

WANG Yang ^ SVK vs FILUS Ruwen GER 11:45 - 19/2/2015 Table 2

Strange match...
http://cdn.laola1.tv/ittf/iframe/player ... _Ruwen_GER

At 5-3 in second set there was a yellow card for putting hand on the table, Ruwen was quite upset. But I never got if he or Wang got the yellow card (looked like Wang but why would Ruwen get so upset?) Then at 9-7 in third there was ball problem and the umpire asked "counting this one?". Ruwen tried to explain or discuss but the umpire did not seem to have a clue what to do. The players were uncertain weather or not to play the point again.... strange....

Probably the ball broke during that rally at 8-7, Ruwen was clearly disturbed by it, missed and Wang Yang got the point. I don't know what the rule is in such a situation...

I only saw some fragments... looks like it was a great and suspenseful match

I'm pretty sure that the rule is to give the point to whoever wins it, just as usual. At least that's how referees in our leagues have done it since the switch. It can be pretty frustrating when you get a high ball and then the ball breakes when you hit it. It's nice when it then lands on the opponents side though, stop ball deluxe.

Haven't seen the match yet though, gonna do it now!

If it's not clear when the ball broke, then the point counts. If it's clear that the ball breaks during the point, then it's a let. At least that's what we're doing here.

I don't think Chen can win vs Jung anymore... he also lost to him before whan he was in better shape. Jung could also break joo the next round, let's hope he won't...
Kang can beat Steger but it's not an easy task, but if he beats Samsonov i'll be like :-o :-o :-o
