Question, isn't the impact point depends on how tall the player is in relationship to the height of the table? :?:

It shouldn't be any difference, if you're very tall then you should bend your knees more to get down lower. I know since I'm 6'5" (195 cm) and if I don't bend my knees enough I can't execute the proper technique in my strokes.

What about hitters who need to hit the ball at the top of the bounce, or loopers who let the ball drop to get more spin, or choppers that chop the ball late? I do like the pingskils videos, but I think he should have explained what the impact points refer to and where it applies...

Hitters tend to jump to get over the ball and hit down, loopers tend to wait until it is just about to drop, and choppers bend and crouch to literally take the ball off the floor. And then there are those who like to turn the ball into a half-volley taking it just off the bounce.
