Does anyone know if the results from the North American Teams tournament are available anywhere?

BH & Kagin, how did you do?

I am also looking for it... seems there isn't a full report on the results on the web yet.

was he telling kagin to be looser in the forearm and wrist when he chops?
Yeah my chop is really stiff, more of a backcourt chop-block than a classic chop. I guess that's what happens when you chop with super slow frictionless for years.

What a way to get some great practice with the best team, must be your summer connection, BH.
Actually, anyone at the tournament could step up and have a five minute session with chen, he, or rossi.

Mr. Hunter did a funny thing, switching to japanese inverted right before the tournament, and played okay but not spectacularly. I had switched to pips on sponge two weeks ago and it turns out i was pretty hopeless with them; I couldn't get the right racket angles and had my worst tournament ever, by far. (I can add more excuses too - i had almost no sleep the last couple days, i lost a freakin tooth on the warm up day, etc.) I got better as the tournament progressed; i probably played 1900 the first day (when i went 0-6), 2000 the second day (2-4), and 2100 the third day (1-1). Maybe i need to play in week-long tournaments, but it's sad when you need to use a tournament as a training session.

The silver lining is that for the first time in many years, i didn't have any major injuries coming out of the tournament, so i can continue playing and perhaps even practice. I've done very little training in my life so it will be something new for me.

"bad" as in bad skill?

or "bad" as in "bad azz"?

Nice videos though. Looks like the chopper did force some mistakes and score.

I am biased though :)

 Its just a light hearted gentle knock, a bit like one of Rick Andersons clips, that was my point. Watch the rally here at about 2.15.

That gets me exited

ROFL, couldn't agree more Kagin, the irony is lovely

DH, I suppose you are talking about the rally that starts at 2.05 and ends at 2.15? Looked great, but I wonder how it would look in normal speed? Probably still impressive, but this speeded version looks ... strange!

You mean that was not normal speed? My, these pro's are not as good as I thought. Kreanga did look abit twitchy though, and He Zi when still takes ages to serve

I have some friends that will be at the teams. The name of their team is "Northern Kentucky Nets". There is one more team from around here called "So sorry". Good bunch of people. I don't think they will know my screen name so don't worry about talking about me. Good luck.
I was in SO SORRY team :)
