Thx, MNNB! :D It's always nice to see lower - leveled (compared to the World Top 100) defenders playing.

After watching these players that I can see are still better than me but not pro international level, I can see there strokes and know whats happening "Hey! i can do that!..." the top players however are just way too fast and are like machines

Metal monkey

Thank you for the videos

Here's a not so recent one of Jie Schopp who famously uses RITC 837:

According to her website (jie-schoepp.de) she uses black 827 with .5 sponge. Her forehand is Friendship 729 Super with 1.9 sponge. Her blade is described as six years old, medium speed, all around and weighs over 100 grams.

There is a Jie Schopp blade sold by Nittaku I believe.

Thanks, MNNB, my kind of match.

Noted that the chopper never attack even when the balls pop up high. Was this a League match? how come the umpire did not enforce the ball throwing rules, looks like the chopper never throw the balls higher than 1" when he serves.

BTW, for me, these series of chopper videos are better to watch and appreciate than those in the professional matches. Thank you.

I agree. I get much more out of matches featuring high level amateurs. The pro game is far removed from what most of us have any chance of playing. Plus for me, none of the pros play my post-Neubauer style (except Lo Chuen Tsung, whom I can't get any video of :x ). I should add that I play the slow-motion version of Lo's style.

I am from Hong Kong long time ago, I don't Lo, might have heard of him if you give me his Chinese name (that means Chinese characters), and I don't know his style either.

Noticed that all these choppers have good forehands to compliment their backhand chopping, although not as good as those loopers in the videos. Guess to be better, a chopper better improve his forehand attacking and defensive skills. That means, an all around player, not one dimensional.

Thanks for sorting out all the chopper games out of that many matches from that large file. Don't know what to do without your service.
