Welcome one of the tallest girl chopper, Irene Ivancan !
Her play involves a LOT of spin, not just drive like many other woman players !



Possibly she already has a thread of her own in OOAKForum, but one more mention in this thread won't hurt, aye? ;)

Fabulous match. I've commented elsewhere about how I love Ivancan's ability to move between attack and offence so seamlessly. Currently ranked mid-50s in the world, I hope she keeps on moving up.

Yes, Ivancan is a beautiful player to watch: on and off the table. :lol: Very aggressive modern defense: sometimes too offensive IMO (just watch the final of the past ETTC 2011 against Li Jiao).

I missed that ! I don't know that she was Euro 2011's Silver medallist :o
I mean I started hearing her name lately and bam suddenly she won a silver in such prestigious event :up:

Yes, she was the silver medalist of the ETTC 2011. Here's the video of the final (she loses 3-4):

Here are some Japanese Chopper Girls. I don’t know their names but they’re great models of the smooth, slow game that I can play and imitate. The girl in the first vid plays Hirano Miu (looks like a few years ago since she’s a lot shorter). She chops 90% of the time on both sides and occasionally hits with a few quick pip counter hits. The other chopper girl is probably Chinese and she takes on Ai. If only the slow game would work against the guys that I play…





Please feel free to add other players from different countries, esp. the lower ranked or juniors...
