This is a very blurry video but I think this is the great Zhuang Zedong (from his lightning quick backhand).

Does anyone know who these 2 players are?

I know that's the label given, but I think it is wrong.
Here is a picture of Li Fu Rong, a pen holder player. One of the players in the video is a shakehands player. Possibly it is Eberhard Scholer who finished 3rd in the 1965 Worlds.

Here is a picture of Zhuang Zedong.

I think the player in the first picture is Li Zhenshi.

http://www.tt-champions.com/bios2.html

I have seen both Li Zhenshi and Zhang Li played in the early 1970's. They were VERY fast.
Li Zhenshi had a very unique PH grip, with no fingers supporting the back of his blade.
Zhang Li was a left handed CPen player, ranked 2nd in the world.
Has anyone been coached by them in the U.S.?

That picture is a link directly to the Li Furong photo in the ITTF Hall of Champions.
You can see all the photos in the ITTF slideshow . You have to select the Meet the Champions :Men gallery at the bottom of the page :

And yes, a long time ago I went to a coaching clinic by Li Zhenshi and took a private lesson from him when
he visited Michigan. I see him at tournaments occasionally and I am impressed that he always remembers me
as his student from 15 years ago. I ran into him again in Grand Rapids at the US Open just this last July. I only wish I could have taken more lessons from him and
been technically farther advanced to get greater benefit from his coaching.

My mistake then; my apology.

Thanks for the photo link! I see pictures of many players I loved to watch in the "old days". The pictures I treasure the most is the picture with Zhuang, Rong, and Li (Furong) under Player Photo Gallery, 46. Chinese Team. Li Furong was a player in picture 46 (1961?) and later as the 1981 team coach in picture 47. (2nd from right in picture 46; 6th from left in picture 47.)

It must have been a great experience to be trained by a great coach and player. I think Li Zhenshi and Li Zhang are still coaching in the U.S.

(There is a nice youtube video on Li Zhenshi vs. Klampar.)

Thanks again!
