Kong's on the bench looking down. He lost both of his matches and needs liu to win, but liu had to fight off match points in the second game and is down again this game.

Liu basically won the men's team championships for china that year, then he seemed to fade. I think he's the same age as ma lin.

It sure is a pity to see Liu Guozheng moving backstage as assistant coach. Chronic knee injury has been bothering him over the years.

Does anyone have more videos of this particular tournament? I'd like to have seen some of the performances by Ryu and Joo.
