No mate, I might get a bit of a clue from someone like the day before. Not yet though. Seems like I'm the only one from ooak playing this time?

A few results have trickled through from yesterday. Apparently BP beat BB in the finals of the O40s and O50s 3-1 and 3-0 but all of the games were close. A good effort by BP as he told me early in the day that his lower-back was very sore. I will post more results when I get them.

It was nice to catch up with Foam yesterday - he looks waaay too young to be a veteran!

More to do with the fact I just attended my Grandmothers 100th I'd say. Long DNA strands go a long way towards living longer than the average, it's also something I want to respect so I don't eat too much rubbish if it's possible. Carbonman is in magnificent condition anyway.

I must say I really enjoyed being given a lesson in table tennis by Carbonman yesterday, I knew he was good, I had no idea he was consistently 11-1 good

If it wasn't perhaps for a few grey flecks in his stubble I think Foam could easily pass for 23 or 24.

Oskar - when I was watching at the Vic Closed Vets a very old (possibly in his 80's?) Chinese gentleman came up to me and asked for a hit. Perhaps he is the mystical Chinese guy you hit with at Geelong (I think it was Geelong)? If it was then he may be a regular at Vets tourneys.

I found out some more results.

Lee Curzon won both the O60s and O65s (big upsets!).

Section 1: John Pattison beat Danny Trinh (both Coburg players).

It probably ws the same guy, although in hindsight he probably isn't that mystical. Perhaps it's got something to do with that Asian + tbale tennis equation, especially when the player looks well over 100. ;)

PS: I haven't been on the forum for a few weeks because of work and other commitments. Sorry. BTW, tonight I'm going to Ballarat for the local Championship Tournament.
