Foam, Reb, Blue, Oskar, etc...anyone playing in the Sunbury Vets tomorrow? I'm not playing but George M is. I will get some results off him if he is there long enough.

Blue is playing Sunbury but not me, too far and too weird playing times. It would have been a 3 days trip. Next proper table tennis for me will be Dandenong if it looks like there wont be ringers next year, if there is then it'll be Geelong.

I got a call from George M. He entered the doubles, put 'partner required', and ended up getting BB! They are number one seeds. Not a bad pick-up!

Got another call from George. BB beat Patto in the final of the o50s and David Segal in the final of the o40s. Segal had earlier beaten Kouros in 5.

George came runner up in division 1 to Greg Robbins. Greg had earlier pushed BB in a match. George lost to Patto and Kouros 3-1 but beat Philip B and Rod K 3-0. He also won the o50s doubles with BB.

Blue - how did you fare?

Mixed results CM.. but am happy with my physical game at the moment! Just need to work on my mental game!
I had a pretty short day seeing so I can no longer enter div 3. Definitely going to start entering doubles from now on..
Best win for the day was first up in div 1, taking out K Pun in 4 (who I noticed was actually the no 1 seed for div 2) Pretty happy with that 8)

Seemed weird leaving a tournament in the early afternoon, after getting used to playing div 3 finals after dark quite regularly during the year!
So.. switched into work mode, made a phone call and went "picking" in Sunbury for my antique shop! Spent a few hundred but got a ute load of interesting treasures. Then, back home in time to finish the day in the shop :)

Not all bad then Blue! Actually the win over Kennan was quite reasonable - apparently he troubles quite a few players in Vets pennant.
