Always enjoyable for me to see film from the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Table Tennis Events. I served as the Competition Manager for the Atlanta Table Tennis events and it was two years of hard but very rewarding work. People don't realize how much work it is to run an Olympic Games. The designing and building of the venue itself to meet the Olympic standards is a real challenge. More than 200 persons served on the Table Tennis Staff who worked directly in the hall. Many others worked in various support roles for the venue. Despite the long hours and hard work, the first time the athletes march into the hall to the Olympic Music everyone on staff agreed all the work was more than worth the effort.
