Hi Everyone,

Im Kris,I'm on here under the name Dark Arts Table Tennis, I'm from the UK i play in the local league in the premier division, i don't play in tournaments anymore.

im now 22, playing for 9 years now (7 years with pips/Anti )
i play an aggressive hitting game close to the table, predominantly backhand which was ox long pips, however I'm now having some fun with Long pips on the forehand with frictionless anti-loop on the backhand (same style)

i currently have two jobs, a table tennis coach specialising in coaching pips out and anti-loop styles, i also teach scuba diving, (which is my other hobby)
i came across this forum years ago and have found great advice on here over the years, only now created a profile (not sure why i haven't sooner)

Hello people,

I'd like to introduce myself as a fan of Ping Pong! I really like the sport, to play it as well. However I'm really bad, I only play for fun with friends.

My main interest is watching it, analyzing the styles and games. I'm happy ITTF streams most of the bigger competitions. I'm anxious to follow club competitions and to understand how they work.

Favourite player: Joo Sae Hyuk (of course), otherwise Xu Xin and Jung Youngsik (best precision in the world?)

I'm Gen, 26. I'm here for quite a while now but haven't introduced myself yet. I used to play TT when when I was 14-19 yo, but only in my friend's garage. Then just last year I reckon I needed some hobby as my work is burning me out, so I figured I'd play TT again but this time I'll take it on a more serious note. So I joined our local club and play TT every other day and join our club's monthly tournament, though I can never make it past round 1 . Because of TT I become more tolerable at my work (because I need the money for EJ stuffs ) and makes my life a little better in general.

As for my style, well, I've been shifting around and trying a lot of things but I play used to play PH grip with either INV, SP, MP or LP. But with the high movement demand of PH, just this month I settled on SH. For the mean time I'm currently using a DEF blade (Donier DEF) and 2 inverted rubber (Yinhe Earth 2), just to adapt to the new grip. But I'm thinking of changing my BH to either SP, LP or anti (I'm leaning more towards anti) as I blocking, pushing and chopping is the only stroke I can do with it.
