I was searching "Timo Boll" videos on youtube and stubbled across this interesting video! It's Timo playing TT since 4 yrs of age, and up till now :)

I don't think so. There are a lot of mental blocks that one needs to overcome in order to reach such a high level. There are a fair number of European and a ton of Chinese players that train from that young and just never quite make it.
