In the USA, anything that motivates a rec player to get out and around serious players to eventually become a player is a positive, even if a totally unrealistic and wacky movie does the job... We are so hard pressed to interest people in the sport. All we got are a few "pockets" of TT activity and I was glad to have a chance to visit one this summer.
