funny guy old rick... not so much in a "good sense of humor" kind of way but rather as in "haha look at him". :lol:

anyway, see the guy in the video around 1:30 attacking with the backhand? i once saw an old (close to 70) hungarian player who did that sort of thing with modern rubbers and it was unlike anything i have ever seen either live or on the internet! using mainly his wrist he could attack over the table backspin balls with such speed (and obviously spin or else they wouldn't hit the table at that speed) that i swear any of the world top players would kill to have such a stroke in their arsenal. one moment you see a backspin push coming at his backhand the other ZAP! it's gone...

great clip Speedplay In my club we have player ho plays like firs two players that play almoast all shots with backhand .
He is 75 and playes in A2 grade and is wery good player and wer competative.
