P.S.: I read in the SP forum that you should win with speed first, placement second and weirdness/reversal a distant third. If that's the case what's the point of using MP in the first place?

Just read your post again, and thoughts about this; I found it far easier to simply place the ball where I wanted without thinking much about the rubber's reaction to the incoming spin. In exchange, since I couldn't produce much spin, the ball did not have much of an arc, so it was quite risky play, or you can use half of the bat with inverted to create a differential to get opportunities.

Oh holy Jesus! I just got two new sheets (my 7th sheet) and I'm appaulled but the QC of this rubber. One sheet had pips noticeably more spaced apart and the sponge was also much much softer.

Now I'm looking into Japanese sheets, they may be pricey, but at least I know what I'm getting.

Angry Geko! :headbang: :headbang:

@fazer227 sorry mate, haven't checked this in a long while, but I was reading 3-4 larger forums. I'll try to find the specific addresses from my old pc if you're keen.

After 5 months of mucking around, I realised it's not the pimples or the style, it was my coach! I've refined my style to better use MP, but I'm still having it ripped past me, and it's cause he is a pimple slayer!
