which is the kind of game using medium pips 2mm? hitting? blocking?

Which MP rubbers are for attack and which for defense?

Hmmm.. i tried to use the GLOBE 888 medium pips rubber in 2009.

Its great for offense and blocking. very little effect if you chop it.. better if you brush-recieve the serves....

Good for BH looping, the ball curves... great for pushes and smashes....

so i think it depends upon the brands.... but i normally go with an offensive game on Medium pips.

i would say that as pips are concerned, SP is first attackers choice. with MP you get less sensitivity with incoming spin, true, but also less oportunity to impart your own spin, hence less attack control. if someone is looking to have more awkward (flat) ball when attacking and is willing to sacrifice part of success margin of hitting the table, then yes, MP is right choice for you

i played with 563 2,0 mm for some time. i would say that main strength was blocking on the table because of speed of returned ball which was effectively turning loops to flat balls. opponent has less time to deal with dead ball

so, i would say that such MP is for pushblocker who likes to attack a lot as well. allround style game
