The Armstrong Attack 8M is suitable for Nittaku Acoustic?

Is easy for control?

What do you think about?

Armstrong Attack 8 is an excellent rubber on that blade for fast countering on the b/hand,so is Armstrong attack 3 ( i see little difference ) , also for good effect on the 8.5 mm tsp balsa blade.

@barry: how tall are the pips? I read from iruiru that they're 0.8-1.0mm tall, is this accurate? Because from what I can tell my current 888 stands a bit tallers than that, so I'm not too sure if the change will be good.

Where you been hiding Geko? Welcome back! So you're still playing MP then?

Under the table, probably due to too much lobbing!
Nah, I've been taking it easy the end of last year, couldn't get focused and lost interest completely. Took up tennis and really enjoyed it, then it gave me new inspiration in my game so I've been back for about a month or so.

Yeah, I'm still kicking arse with MP! haha

yesterday I tried Armstrong Attack 8M 1.5mm in a Nittaku Acoustic. I like the rubber and the game type of this rubber is similar to short pips.

The pips are very soft and the spongue is medium hard.

This rubber is very good!

The sponge is hard, the rubber is flex.

It is not as MP rubber, it is not as SP rubber, is strange!!!!

But, I love it!

Now I am using Armstrong Attack 8M 1.5 mm but I am thinking in to change to 1.8mm.

Hello everyone...this is my first posting since I just joined earlier today. I played a friendly match with a Japanese mid 2200 player at the US Open and she had Attack 8M. I would love to buy a sheet of this but Armstrong isn't sold anywhere in the US that I know of. Does anyone know where I can buy it in the US? I know Iruiru sells it, but I hate to order it and pay the extra shipping.

I just ordered a sheet of Dr Neubauer Diamant 1.8mm so maybe I will like this, but I'm still interested in trying a sheet of Attack.

I am also interested in buying this rubber, so would like to know where (other than iruiru) to purchase it. Also, what thickness is used by Fukuhara? (1.5, 1.8, 2.0)? Finally, how long does the rubber last before the pips break?

Hi All,
I have seen Fukukara,s Armstrong rubber up close,it looks 1.5/1.8 mm but she has special sponge on it,it has a lilac colour. I asked Armstrong to supply it but they would not. :^)

They've got a new version called Super I-version 43 which has a lilac sponge, maybe it's that one.

I suggested to Alex that he get some of that in, so you may see it at One of a Kind soon.
