Hi Guys,

I am currently using RITC 563 on the FH, and bought from the ooak store. I did notice it said 563 "Tack-Speed". What is Tack Speed? Sorry i'm a friendship noob ;D. Oh and what sponge does the 563 from ooak have?

Oh and could people please tell me what different sponges are available with 563, what are the differences and maybe even where to get them, because i'm very interested in trying different sponges with this great rubber.

i think it has something to do with the original 729 rubber.

it says RITC 729 tackspeed.

the rubber itself is a DHS-H3 like rubber (although not as hard and high throwing) with about the same tack as between the H2 and H3neo rubber. so since the chinese companies always assume that their rubber is really fast, RITC put "speed" on their rubber.

and then, RITC made different rubbers branching off from that main rubber, and kept the tack speed part.

and that is my theory.

if you get the OX version, a whole lot of sponges (saviga, zero, 729 just to name the top of my list) can be stuck onto it.

colesTT sells the air zero sponge, daweis saviga(springy euro copy sponge), butter(soft yellow 303 deg. sponge) and quattro(harder than saviga, but still a bit soft for a chinese sponge), and dawei cannon (soft allrounded sponge)

zeropong sells the HRS (works well with pips, hardish creamy colored sponge), 729 (hard chinese classical sponge) and Dr. Zheng contender orange and yelow(a bit softer than orange)

Tackspeed is term used on some of the 729 rubber, but I think it's does not mean anything. OOAK shop carries the standard sponge that comes with the 563, which is what most people use... I'm not sure what others are available, and if they offer any benefits.

I think "Tack Speed" means Friendship old regular orange sponge. Slower and less spin then more modern "Mystery" sponges but with better control.
