Has anyone played with this? Is it available in the US?

We just got some of these in, in 1.9mm. They are unusual compared to other 729 pips.

The sheet is very light, uncut sheet of 165x165mm is only 34g! The sponge is light green and feels quite soft, and measures only 40deg on my sponge hardness scale. Sponge looks very porous as well, with big pores as you can see from the last picture.

"Legend 105 is a new concept sandwich rubber made of raw rubber and sponge. Which breaks through the speed bottleneck of the traditional raw rubber while maintaining its sinking and diversity characteristics. It will bring you unprecedented performance with the offensive from elasticity, explosive power, speed, and strength. It is particular suitable for those attacking players."

I've had about 5 hits with Legend 105. Fairly soft sponge, reasonable spin for SP and ok control. Not very fast however and fairly unexciting.

Compared to the 563 by friendship what is it like?

Post subject:  Re: Legend 105 Medium Pip

Nothing like 563 IMO. 105 plays like a regular SP with reasonable spin and good control. It has a soft feel about it. 563 has less spin and control, and gives back a much flatter ball.

My coach has the 563 on a few bats. On the Andro fibercomp def amazing spin deception. There were times I use to do a heavy topspin loop and he would hit the ball back looking it had no spin at all but it was loaded with heavy backspin it is a pretty good rubber on the Fibercomp def for a composite bat it is a Must Try if you ever get your hands on one. With the Andro supreme all round not as effective and on the Andro supreme All+ was a little easier. I still enjoy looping back the spin from the 563 and the 563 is a very satisfying rubber to use, if I did a bad serve it was capitalised from the 563 flat hit.

I had a little hit with the 105 too, and agree with carbonman. It's got a fair bit of grip, and can generate some decent spin and can lift the ball a little. Plays very much like a short pimple, not a medium one.
