I'm really not sure on that one. I think that there were some top female players who might of used medium pips on the backhand, but I'm not sure. Also, I thought I read somewhere that Greg Letts used them for awhile (again, not sure so correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes correct on both count...

The 563 was used by a yop female player, can't remember which one.

Greg used to use TSP Curl P-2 which is a medium pip...

In some sense, MP acts like LP with some wobbly effects. Sometimes, it got blocking capability like SP.

I use both RITC563 and HallMark Panther. Actually with a cheap Yinhe Chinese penhold blade with RITC 755 and HM Panther just to have fun with LP players. We are equal as they cannot make use of my spin because there is little spin. If they spin the ball across with reverse rubber to me, I give them back spin with LP. If they open serve with LP, I just push back with MP. If they open serve with strong spin, I just push back with LP with strange trajectory.

Just for fun, not for serious competition.

Simple Hallmark Frustration or Galaxy 955, or perhaps (not tried it) Neptune. Juic Leggy is in effect a medium pip that works just as well.

I'd also add C8 to that list. I'm sticking with leggy until the end of the season, but I'll probably switch back to C8 as it is more of an allround LP. I find chop blocking with leggy REALLY hard, getting anykind of back spin, whilst with C8 it was a blast. My standard play of block followed by chop block just doesn't work with leggy. But attacking is a dream

Are you using leggy or C8 with a sponge?

Might be good to put your equipment in your signature...?

Good to have more long pimple players aboard guys!

Thanks for the welcome HaggisV but its not my first post! Yeah, I was using C8 OX (very fast) and my leggy has 1mm 'defensive' sponge

Oops, my memory is letting me down

I think the sponge has a lot to do with the fact that they feel so different. The sponge of the leggy is soft and springy, it's great for chopping and attacking, but suffers in the short game.

C8 I have yet to try, but have some coming in...

I found leggy really hard for chopping, everything is high and long. For attacking and blocking, punch/blocking it is fantastic! inother words for the no spin or addedsping shots, but for anything with backspin I find it really hard!

When I said chopping, I referred to chopping against loops away from the table. I assume you say my review of the rubber here?

Review of JUIC Leggy

You may well experience it very differently of course...
