My attempt to find out more of killer pro on the internet is kinda futile for now.

therefore calling out anyone who had experience of using Dr N killer pro,
as well of anyone who went against an opponent who uses this rubber.

Thanks in advanceeeee

Hi everyone i play with killer pro 1.8mm
If u use a fast carbon blade its uncontrollable
Chops blocks dont work well
If u use soft all+ blades wooden it shows real power
Counter once twice max the opponent is frustrated
No returns. Punch is awesome skids on table
Blocks are good if u keep racket face open
Be careful if u play with someone using moist rubbers the ball grip is fatal and dies
U cant do anything

I also have 1.5mm not yet opened
Maybe next year will open package
Its better than 563-1 and armstrong attack 8m

There's some info on thread about dr n rubbers just a few weeks earlier. If you want to try, better get the Killer which is softer than Killer Pro. Try the 1.5mm.

Otherwise if you want much cheaper, try Yinhe Pluto 1.5mm

There is some info in this thread on Dr. N rubber.

http://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=30508&p=326699&hilit=+Killer+Pro+#p326699

Here is the info on Killer/Killer Pro from the thread Posted by Carsten Neubauer.

KILLER and KILLER PRO have the same topsheet but a different sponge.
Both produce good (if not very good) disruptive effect while blocking, counter-attacking and straight hitting.
The sponge of KILLER is medium hard (°43) and provides a bit more control, while the sponge of KILLER PRO is a bit harder (°45), faster and even more disruptive.
The versions with thin sponge (1.3/1.5) are the most effective in both cases in terms of low bounce, the thicker sponges are naturally faster (with less disruptive effect).
KILLER and KILLER PRO allow for quite a deceptive game however they don't play by themselves, some training is needed.

By the way our new half-long pimple rubber AGGRESSOR might be interesting for those of you who found the KILLER rubbers to be too difficult to control, while keeping good disruptive effect and also producing more spin.

Thanks for info everyoneeeeeeee love ya guysssss!!!!

Basically I'm trying to understand wht kind of game it caters too,
since the only opponent i went against palyed it like sp sending balls here and there
but unlike sp i can never seem lift the ball properly,
a chop or push often leads to fatal high balls.

Do ppl ever chop with this rubber away from table, cause my thought process is, its med pips therefore have a little of both worlds between sp and lp.

If you do need to chop away from the table on occasion, I would probably chose the Aggressor over the Killer/Killer Pro as it has more control and the pips are longer so it absorbs the speed better. With the right technique you can actually get some reversal with the Aggressor since the pips are as long as those of LPs just much wider. The pips of the Killer are actually fairly short (close to sp than mp) but overall it plays more like a mp in terms of block and counter.

i play with pluto (cheap @$$ counterpart of Killer/Pro), i had tried my friend's killer and killer pro but at the time of trying didn't try the far chop.
but if pluto is any indication, chop far from table is very easy to do.

for some mp has little of both world = bad (not enough of any)
for some mp has little of both world = good (enough of both)

I finally give up on sp n mp if i attack or backhand loop i get a return block
But if i use inverted rubber to loop bh no returns
I will have to sell my killer pro and tsp spectol red n blue 1.5mm

so do u think killer pro falls under the good category or bad? and do u think that it has a slight dominance on sp plays vs lp?

That would be different for each of us, if it fits than good, other wise bad. Just like any other blades/rubbers I guess...

Others that fall into this category include SpinLord Keiler, Nittaku PimpleMini, and TSP MilliTall II. These can play either the flat ball (like most medium pips) or a slightly spun ball (maybe not as much spin as a standard short pips), which is different from most medium pips. This also allows these 3 pips more options when you chop with them, since you can vary the spin more.

Since the ITTF doesn't specify what is a medium pip (only short and long pips), there are many varieties from short pips that play like medium (Killer and Killer Pro) to medium pips (563, Pluto) to short long pips (I put TSP P-3 Curl and Nittaku PimpleMini in this catagory, and then Long (fat) pips that play like medium (TSP P-2 Curl and maybe Aggressor).

The best advice I have to learn to deal with these is to buy a sheet (or 2) and take turns practicing with/against them with some friends.
