I did some research on the internet en did not found a lot of information in english, only in German.
I tried to translate some of them en this is my brief or resume:
Shockwave is very variable en stable, it also has very good control.
When playing passive, it has not a lot of deception. It has excellent control en you can place the ball wherever you want. Push is easy and it has not a lot of reversal (also not if you defense away from the table). But the control is defenitly there.
When playing active, the active block gives deception, ball stays low en not easy to return.
Good for flip (flick), pseudo topspin and counterballs. Also speed changes (fast-slow).
More active is more deception.
Service has not a lot of spin.
Summary:
For players who play mostly close to the table. Want good control and a variable playstyle.
Deception comes from the variability (active-passive). Good control – deception story if you play active.
