The colleagues at ttmaximum shop in the youtube channel have released a very informative video .

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zNqRE8GWAA

however, the 1,3 mm is the best option for a disruptive game. With the right technique one can attack with the forehand though I must say it is not easy .

K.O pro will be released in June 018 with more sinking effect and speed .Those close to the table blockers will love K.O , the only problem is that blocks must be passive to be disruptive enough and the fh attack must be chosen at the right time with the right technique.

Hope this helps for those who love blocking and counterattacking .

Great video! Has anyone had a chance to try KO pro yet? How much faster is it?

Yes, I am aware of that but I got to try Bison+ before it was released, I am sure that there are samples of KO pro on a few bats out there :).

BH: Dtecs 0.5
I tested today KO 1.3 for the first time. I will compare it to Dtecs 0.5 that I play regurally.

- KO is heavy as inverted, maybe twice as heavy as my Dtecs.
- Overall I could play 70-80 % of same shots as with Dtecs.
- Blocking was good, certainly better than expected.
- Speed was faster than Dtecs. If Dtecs speed is 5, KO is 6 or 7.
- KO need more open blade angle in many shots. I missed many shots right to the bottom of net in the way that Dtecs would not behave. Open face "inverted push" seem to be safest to clear the net - with Dtecs you can can take nearly everything with vertical blade.
- Chopping was ok, maybe bit too fast and and not as good with Dtecs, but I hadn't really chance to chop. Not much underspin in chops.
- Attacking was bit of a disappointment, bit more speed than Dtecs and more ability to attack top or no spin, but I didn't find out the best tecnique. Certainly not many straigh winners as I was hoping.
- KO worked best when I was passive. Blocks and stuff have potential for disturbance, on the other hand I had to aim many shots high to clear the net.
- While I am comfy with Dtecs and shots come automatically, with KO I have to think all the time and experiment different angles.
- I did well in games, won many sets, but also lost some sets badly because of easy mistakes with KO.
- Overshooting was less of problem than I expected, althought some ball took of like a bullet in unpredictable manner.
- I haven't played medium pips before, but KO was close to LP, far away from short pips.
- Maybe with faster raquet the disturbance or attack would be more effective.
- I am not sure, if KO is clearly better at anything that Dtecs does.
- No one commented on weird trajectories or stuff like that, but we have lots of pips players and lots of different pips, so they are used to it.
- Serve receive went Ok, better than expected.

I will continue testing and keep reporting of it
