I had the chance to test Dr. Neubauer K.O on backhand and forehand (with blade Re-Impact Swift 64). I am totally mesmerized with this rubber. It has a great effect when playing either passive or aggresive. The ball flies as if it is in the wind. The effect is so large that it is clearly visible to the naked eye. Also very easy to control with a high success rate.

Compared to Agressor, this rubber is much better and advanced in every way such as control and disturbing effect. I believe this is currently the best mid-length pimples on the market especially for the ones who plays close to the table. It is a must try rubber.

The name is right on point: this rubber K.O's the opponent.

What sponge thickness did you try? What is the weight of the cut sheet?

p.s. From the Dr N website the name appears to be "K.O." as in "knockout". No OX offered as of yet..

I used a black 1.5mm sponge. I did not measure the exact weight but it did not feel heavy as the sponge is soft.

Found the above excellent video review of Gipfelsturm versus KO

Gipfelsturm is faster and spinnier better for top spin with inverted type strokes so can be played on either side. KO slower and more disruptive and requires a more open blade and seems more suited to the BH.

As they are quite different one could quite easily play Gipfelsturm on the FH and KO on the BH.

Looks like an interesting alternative to Keiler as well as Aggressor.

I like the fact that it is supposed to be good close to the table for defensive pushing and chopping which is where I find Keiler is weak.
