From Der Materialspezialists web:
Comming soon
Power Pipes is a new offensive medium pimple rubber with high catapult properties and offers high disruption.

According to posts at noppentest there will be a video (from Geblock?) soon. Amir verified that the disruption was devestating. I am highly curious :).

Any more info?

It is for sale now: https://www.der-materialspezialist.com/ ... anguage=en

Seems to be a little faster than Hellcat. I guess it not for me. If I will try more MP I will go with Hellcat or K.O. I think.

i will be making a promo-video for it tomorrow! the rubber comes in various sponge thicknesses, so speed shouldnt be a problem. the disruptional effect is bonkers ;)

But thinnest is in 1,5. I would like 1,2 for such a fast rubber I think.
But it would be great if you could compare it to Hellcat, in terms of speed, grip, control etc. How i it for blocking loops? Attacking backspin? Driving back top spin?

there also is an ox version :P

well, its not crazy fast or anything. i doubt that as an offensive-block player you would find 1.5 too fast.

its been a very long time that i played hellcat, so it is hard to compare. its probably faster, less grippy, less control, but massively more disruption. if you warm up with your opponent or tainingspartner it really wont be possibly to have a ralley, as the ball falls into the net like a stone

So PP is more easy to control in blocks? Sounds promising. Did you try KO?

Thx for the post and the video Def-Attack.
Amir, big fan of your style and tabletennisvideos

Would like to know if the DMS Powerpipes are good for:

- Passive blocks with good disruption
- Good active block / and shootabilitys (ball skids fast)
- Opening backspin with hit or sort op topspin stroke: can you grip the ball and do a topspin stroke
- Insensitive to incoming spin for service return
- Good control in defense ( only in emergency situation, it’s not the intension to go backward)

Which thickness should i take for this game 1.5 or more ?
Play an active offensive and blocking game with my backhand

Saw the video already. Maybe Amir can give me some advice for this rubber or another ??

Played Aggressor 1.5 and Hellcat 1.5.
Loved Aggressor for his deception but difficult to control
Love Hellcat for his good allround conditions whit a little bit of deception.
Blade is Donic WSUC ;)

I just recieved my sheet of PP, 1,5 mm. Strong smell! Just like Aggressor. Pips look very similar to those of Hellcat but they are taller, I think as tall as in Aggressor. Pips are slightly less grippy than on Hellcat and a little more grippy than Aggressor. Pips are vertical aligned like Aggressor (Hellcat has horizontally aligned pips). The sponge looks and feels like the one of Hellcat but it smells tuned (unlike Hellcat).
Here are a few pics, Aggressor on top (upside down), Hellcat at the botton:

And another one, this time PP on top:
