main difference is the ball doesn't float - and when you try to punch it, it doesnt go off the end of the table.

may have been technique with P1R - but sometimes it would work, sometimes it doesnt. my backhand is more consistent closer to the table.

it's as sensitive to spin - if not more so than P1-R. but i'm finding when i block without coming over the ball it will still reverse, because unlike 563, these lil' suckers bend back on loop and stay still when you block.

not as high in reversal though, naturally.

it's also faster - but i have more sponge behind it. check out my video, MM. you'll see.

Okay thanks Superfunhappy, ill check it as soon as I get home.
I had the same problem when I was experimenting medium and long on the fh. The medium was far more consistent and detestating to the opponent than my 1.5mm 979

Im interested in 888, I use short on the fh in max. The shop has it in 2.2mm. Melarissma, is it good for hitting?
Can you compare with 563-1?

888 is good for block, hit ans some spin. I play it forehand for attacks. Sorry, cant compare to 563 !
