I really hope so too but doubt it very much. If it was going 'our' way Insider wouldn't be off the list.

i know somebody at the club who uses peacekeeper, and it's doggone slow. mind you he never attacks with it. but i didn't like what i saw of it.

guys - my style is fairly agressive all-round. i can twiddle and play inverted BH/LP FH occasionally however i'm not totally confident when i do it.

i rarely step back too far to chop - if i step back i'll lob more and counter-attack at soonest oppertunity. i use the pips for close to the table attack and ball control with a few million dropshots thrown in if they dare attack me from too far back...

I guess with the p1r your not getting alot of sink when you attack with it, cause of its grippyness

Well I have played against some pimple attackers and have felt the 563-1 to be the most detestating, in 1.8mm. Its easy to use than a long pimple and very cheap.

At least you will get it sooner and you dont have to deal with the exchange rate.
Plus K Rudd will be happy.

I am currently using the Globe 888 1.8mm (bought off OOAK shop) for my rpb BH. I can rpb loop, chop and block with it. I find with my sp, namely the 889-2 and Spectol 21, can do everything well but not rpb chop. This 888 can do very good controlled defensive chop which I employ to mix up my game.

Cheers.

Have a look around the web for Haruna Fukuoka, if those are the strokes you like, tsp p3a in OX. If you are over the table, sponge will hurt you. A meter back ok, and you can forget dropshots with sponge

Martin´s review of Meteor 71-1 sounds promising for close to table attacking - blocking game, at a price of little spin reversal.

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6148

Haven´t played with it myself, though.

I just watched the state closed last weekend and it was enlightening to say the least. I did see three choppers. ok on the bh side. terrrible machanics on the fh chop..1 player with anti on bh did well. two long pip attack players also did very well. one girl i know that is coached used custom 563 bh with .8 sponge by her coaches request and was very tough. she also had good fh hitting..she is not a looper. My question is I am looking for who sells sponge 1.0mm .8mm etc. nothing less than .6mm. Also I am using a ma lin soft carbob as my med pip set up. I also have a gergely 21 that I have used with pk ox with pretty good sucess.. I read on one page there is a medium pip master that post here.. WHO?? thanks alot for your time
ps. I noticed zeroponge is out of alot of the .8 and .6 sponges

Peace GIG :alien:

New blade set-up... Nittaku Monophonic with Dawie 388d-1 ox and Big slam max ( really like this one) down to FH rubber selections--I like it better than talon
flaired handle and 90 grams

i've just got to get used to the way the spin comes off it, and it'l be a gun. i'm looping with it, almost. handy stuff.
