Hi Guys.

I finally got my BARATH blade and I hope this thread could be a BARATH thread where all BARATH users post their experiences, with the blade itself and how rubbers play on it.

I have only tried it with Spinlord Stachelfeuer OX and this is what I experienced

Very INsensitive to spin
Easy to attack almost every ball with, though topspin balls was a little hard to attack, but thats probably just my teqnique ;)
Blocks/chops were VERY low over the net and easy to place where I wanted, also chops away from the table.
Incomming Loops where also easy to place where I wanted, if they were slow or medium fast. Really fast loops were hard to keep on the table cause the BARATH is pretty fast when it faces a fast ball, so with fast loops it requires a very active play with the LP close to the table or you could chop it away from the table.

I have now mounted my favorite rubber of all times Dornenglanz OX and a Stiga Almana Sound 1.8 and will take it for a ride the next couple of days ;) If Dornenglanz plays even better on the BARATH I think I finally found MY SETUP!

I hope other BARATH users will contribute to this thread.

Here is a pic of my setup as of now ;)

Kind regards
Evander

Thanks for the review Evander!

You can find some very detailed reviews of the Re-Impact Barath here. That thread was 13 pages, including discussions with Achim (from Re-Impact) himself. :o

I still think it's one of his best blades, but since it was released almost 2 years ago, the excitement of something 'new' has worn off a little.
