Blade: Stiga Infinity VPS V
FH: Tibhar Evolution MX-P
BH: Andro Rasant Powergrip
Hi All, I joined the forum today as i desperately need suggestion. Last year, I ordered Stiga Infinity VPS blade (88gm) from tt11. After reading lot of reviews online for Infinity, I got Mx-P for FH and Powergrip on BH. The entire racquet setup has become very heavy for me. I want to stick to Infinity for long time as I love the blade feeling. Powergrip is good on BH.
Can someone please suggest lighter rubbers for FH ? Thanks in advance.

Dhs neo skyline 2 works well for me. Or hurricane 3. The tack on skyline lasts forever which is a plus for me. Generally Chinese rubbers work well with stiga 5 plys.

I think the weight is a bit lighter than mx-p. Not 100% sure

729 or Palio or Yinhe rubbers have less weight compared to most DHS ones ?

Once upon a time I used PG9 with G888 and Skyline TG2Neo ... 197gr ?broke my elbow :-P

Heh.

I weighed my skyline 2 and acuda s2 once. To my surprise the latter is heavier (same size). Acuda s2 is often used for bh and also german.

If your FH rubber is working well for you, I would actually suggest sticking to that set up and getting used to the weight. My setup used to feel like a brick, but now it feels normal.

Thanks Ma_Xin and man_iii for your responses.

@Danthespearton HQ : Yes i too thought i would get used to the weight of racquet, but during 3rd or 4th set of my matches , i'm unable to hit my fh strokes swiftly due to weight of FH i believe.

i tried playing FH with the powergrip on my bh. I find it good. I'm thinking of putting Powergrip on FH as well. Powergrip production has stopped so do you guys suggest any near identical alternatives to Powergrip ?

The Rasanter R & V series are supposed to replace powergrip. Good video review here.

New Xiom Omega VII pro is supposed to be light for a high performance tensor.

MX-P is HEAVY - until you realize the sheet is 1cm longer than other peoples' sheets. The areal density is actually quite reasonable. Most Tensors will have a higher cut weight. If you want a lighter rubber, yeah, try Chinese. There are some really heavy Chinese sheets too, though.

Tibhar Evolution MX-P
black 2.1 72.57g 168x179mm 0.241g/cm^2

Andro Rasant Turbo
black 2.1 72.67g 170x171mm 0.250g/cm^2

Yinhe Big Dipper
black 38 degree 68.38g 165x167.5mm 0.251g/cm^2

Yinhe 9000 (rectangular generic pack)
red (red sponge) 61.95g 165x168mm 0.227g/cm^2
black (red sponge) 57.5g 165x170mm 0.208g/cm^2

DHS Hurricane 3 Med 2.15mm Orange Sponge 4 corners cut
black 59.72g 164.5x170.5mm 0.219g/cm^2
red 58.34g 164x171mm 0.215g/cm^2
red 58.32 164x170mm 0.216g/cm^2

Thanks for the link ChasFox. Very good review there.

Iskandar, Thanks for the details. Going by your uncut rubber stats, i think i can try DHS Hurricane 3.
