Brand: Yinhe
Blade: N11. Rated ALL.
Handle: FL
Weight (before varnish): 80.77g

I'll have to say.. this blade is SILK SMOOTH. Absolute tactile ecstasy. Never came across a blade that feels like this to the fingertips. I bought it because it was recommended as a blade that flexes, and I want to see what a flexy blade feels like (you can supposedly tell immediately from hitting with it, we'll see). Varnish it first, and then I have sheets of 999 and Yasaka ZAP to try on it.

Iskandar

I like this blade so much I bought a second one. This one weighs 79.59g.

Iskandar

Third one. 76.91g!
Thickness: 6.61mm.

This was a rec blade used in the basement, we decided to strip the rubber off after both topsheets started coming off the sponge. Surprisingly, the sponge wasn't hard-glued to the blade as with most rec blades.

Glued my two sheets of T88 training rubber on it (since these two weigh a ton I'm donating them to the cause..).

Brand: Yinhe
Blade: W-6 (Loop King)
Handle: FL
Weight: 84.70g (after varnish)
A little heavier than I had hoped for, we'll see how it plays. I'm putting Yasaka ZAP Spin (33-35) on one side and Training Shark I on the other. This is supposed to be a "flexy" blade, but it seems as stiff when I try to bend it as any other blade I've tried. It is a little thinner (5.5mm) compared to the N-11.

That's unusually light. The one I have weighs 84 grams and I've weighted other ones in the shop with one heavy one coming in at 95 grams.
You probably have one of the lightest ones out there.

It's insulting. :-(
Wood varies but we pay (unspecified corporation) to deal with that and to sell something with known properties, corresponding to the name of the product we paid for, within a reasonable range.

And, oh yeah, stop changing the design of blades while continuing to sell them under the same name; stop changing the design of blades without telling anybody. :-(

The only Appelgren Allplay listed on page 1 of this thread is listed as 75 gm and it is an anatomic, which is normally heavier than a flared. Mine is also a Senso V1, which is listed as being 5 gm lighter than the regular Allplay because of the hollow handle. The one listed on page 1 is essentially 10 gm lighter than mine, as it is an anatomic and the regular Allplay.

This one seems to have obeche face plies - the N11 appears to be meranti or similar. Excellent quality!

Palio A08
72.37g

This is the thinnest, lightest blade I've bought so far (a little over 5mm thick). Face plies seem to be Meranti. Ugly handle. It was 20% off when I bought it, a little later it was 50% off. Could've saved another $6. Drat.

Let's see how "flexible" this is. So far I've found NO blades that I can actually flex in my hands, this one does it a little teeny bit.

Brand: 729
Model: Super 1 Wood
Weight: 90.03g

This is a 7 ply blade with a smallish handle. The plies all seem about the same thickness. I expect this blade to be quite stiff across the width. We'll see how it plays. The result of inadvertently winning an auction on ebay! I suspect this is a legacy blade, the markings don't match the latest scheme 729 uses on blades.

More cheap blades.

I have two of these.

Brand: Reactor
Model: DJ200
Handle: FL
Weight (1): 83.32g. Weight (2): 86.47g.

Funny thing about these blades - there's a speed scale silk screened on the blade, but NO INDICATOR! So these may be slow, they may be fast...
