They do look really nice and maybe will play as nice as they look. But Donic is now going to face some extra competition from new kids on the block like Xiom and to some extent by Nexy. And Donic would do well to add to their penhold selection to compete better.

You're right, they look great!

I've noticed that a lot more manufacturers spend more effort into making the blades look cool... I guess it's becoming a good selling point!

Blade: Donic Waldner Senso V1
FH: Donic Baracuda Big Slam
BH: Victas Triple Regular
Just wondering if anyone has had any trouble with these snapping at the neck. Last night ha one hit the table in doing a push and snapped. Interestingly the only other blade I've seen this happen to lately is the ANDRO Temper Tech ALL+. Both are heat treated so I wonder if it dries out the wood and makes them brittle?

I remember one Stiga Allround that got looser and looser around the neck and one day the head fell off... I was told it's not an unusual thing to have happen. Don't know about the Burn - I expect a lot of blades would snap off if you hit the table just right. On the other hand, I've seen a blade hit the table so hard the edge of the table put a nice 90 degree divot about an inch and a half deep into the edge of the blade (a mis-adjusted tomahawk serve... ) and the head didn't break off. Don't remember what blade it was, but it was impressive!

By the way... this is another of those "twilight zone" threads that give you a sense of unreality - Donic Burn? New??? Hasn't that been around for donkey's years? Yes... all the posts except the last one and this one date back to 2010.. but you don't notice that until you click on the link and a bunch of Donic RUBBERS come up...

I always search the particular blade and rubber that I'm asking a question about to try and keep all the information in the one thread if possible. Makes it easier to research and read later.

I like to do the same thing. No point in creating new threads when one exists already, and sometimes what's said back then has relevance to the current issue. It's just that it took me a minute or so to figure out what was going on.
