Just ordered one, Reb.
I was looking for something faster, but couldn't find any T8's around, plus the GD Fiberenergy ALC has zero reviews on the net.
Gergely is quite well priced and is more controlled to the PC, SC, and Sardius.

I haven't used the Gergely but some years ago I bought a Tamca. Very sweet for counter-hitting and smashing but almost impossible to loop with (the ball had left my bat before I could get any topspin!). I sold it after only a few sessions.

LOL, I would love to go faster... but everything about me tells me this is about the "fastest" blade I could use without using control.

Been using the SP/LP setup with similar blade about 2 years ago, it wont feel that much far off. Just need to pick my shots well while keeping my blocks solid.

Hi, the handle for Gergely Tamca 5000 has 2 different badges what one is the older one of the 2?

Yeah, the Butterfly logo in the second one is the logo they use today. The one you see in the first label is the one you see in pictures of old equipment.
