I have been away from the game for a while, and do to age and infirmity, I will not be able to play my old chopping and looping away from the table game any longer.

I have seen the LKT Gun blade and I wonder how this would work for a pips out hitter. Both on backhand and forehand the paddle would be in the head down position allowing for good drive strokes but without using a lot of back muscles that I no longer can use for very long effectively.

I was thinking of maybe building a blade with 802-40? or maybe 802-40 FH/ 563-01 BH

What do you think?

Ian

I'd say go for it, especially if you think it'll help out your back/muscles/etc. It's a cool looking blade that nobody uses with some added benefits for you, so why not?

I have one and it's definitely a solid blade, it's excellent for flat hitting and smashing. Pendulum serves are akward though.
