Defence X Is 5 equal ply willow oversize.

Have you played with it (defence X)? Never played with willow that I know of, wondering how it does. Is it good for blocking/chopping (slow)? How is the throw? Is it good for a fast looping rubber on FH? Maybe it is too new and not allot of people have tried yet. I'm hoping someone has that can give some info on it. Thanks...

Yes, i have one. It is to slow for me. Chop is good but to slow for my loop.
Size is the same as the Defence Alpha.

Does it play like Def II since they both have willow wood? Don't know what other woods are in them.

probably not...the head size looks bigger (slower) and it has five plies instead of the combination of the defence-II (stiffer, lower throw) but i would suspect it to have similar properties.

One more question please... Would Defence X pair well with T05 fx (or similar rubber) and LP ox for BH in your opinion. I've read that some def blades don't do well with Tenergy (to bouncy or something). It will be slow I know, but do you think it will play well like this? Thanks :)

Blade: Tsp Black Balsa 3.0
FH: t05 1.9 boosted
BH: 388d ox black
i tried tenergy on def alpha but did not like the feeling,i think it may be worse with def pro, with willow blades there is slow release of the ball and ternergy holds the ball on the blade also for a split second making accurate topspin difficult(huge spin though most i`ve seen when it lands),the def pro should have more flex than alpha as it is somewhat thinner and could make the dwell higher and the problem worse unless the central ply was something other than willow, looks like a classic defence blade to me,defplay senso is better for a modern defence with f/h topspin type game imo.

Im not a fan of Tenergy, so i cant comment.
Defence X works well for me with OX pimples.

Blade: Victas Matsushita Off
FH: Tibhar EL-s 1.9
BH: Victas Curl P1V 1.0
I was looking for a medium soft and rather flexible blade for chopping with spongeless long pips and looping with forehand. Some comments say that Def/Matsushita Pro is very soft and even mushy, others say it isn't that soft and that it's medium fast...

I'm hoping it has some flex without having too many handle vibrations. I wonder if it differs much from the Victas Matsushita Koji. Is anyone aware of the wood composition of Defence/Matsushita Pro?
