Hi all :) ,
I just received my new(?)Wavestone (Cpen) blade few hours ago and I noticed few things.
First, is wrapped in plastic unlike others where in comes in a box. Second thing I noticed is the edge of the blade where the thumb and index finger mean to wrap around, it appeared to be sandpaper already!! Worse is they don't looked even at all.
My question is, is this a used blade?? Should I send it back??

Dawei blades come wrapped in plastic. Galaxy blades too.

I don't recall the edge being pre-sanded on dawei, but galaxy blades are like that. They're not that even too. Just a quick job.

I got it from eachend.net . Maybe I should send them an email. Just wonder anybody else got a Wavestone before and are they normally like that?

In future it is better to buy from Haggisv. He is always available, so you can claim easily
You can ask what is the condition of the blade before it is being sent. Am I right ?

Cheers aeoliah! Although we have not been carrying the Wavestone in pengrip...

If the blade was used, you can probably find traces of glue on the face....

My wavestone was pre-sanded.
Though the even-ness issue is probably due to China's terrible quality control.

P.S. I can mock the Chinese all I want, since I realise how badly we do things *hangs head in shame* lol

A friend of mine ordered a 729 CPen that came presanded a while back. Maybe it's a Chinese thing, as I've seen Butterfly and Stiga CPens that were not sanded at all when new.
