Hey boys, im just a new guy at this forum.

My questíon is, Nittaku Rutis Blade, how does it work, feel, hardness, speed, control?
Is it to big for your hands, or could a guy with small hands use it?

How does it works with the new Tensor rubbers.. fx. Xiom Omega 3 (european), Nittaku NaruCross EX. Tibhar Nimbus VIP.

All of all just wanna know how it is.

(I heart in my ears, that Ma Long is using this blade - correct?).

It's got a very thin handle.

Stiff blade, soft feel. Speed is mid fast, below the TBS.
Works great with tensors.
I use a (pair) of rutis with tenergy 05 on the fh and sonex JP gold on the bh.

Geko bought one and I had a hit with it last night. Gotta say it feels pretty awesome and the Boost TP max on bh felt so good.

Am I nuts for thinking about getting a third Rutis?

Yep, I got a Rutis as a present (how awesome is that btw?). It is a very thin blade, 5.5mm, that's very linear in response. It is slow in the short game and is very very fast when you hit hard. I have to disagree with Silver here, I think it is much much faster than the TBS. It is closer in speed to the Amultart, if you hit hard!

It has a pencil handle, as does most Nittaku blades but feels comfortable in the hand.

I can't say much about it with the new tensors, since I don't play with tensors, I use a sheet of Higher and TP. Boost TP does not fit the blade well. It has to hard of a sponge to give it enough dwell time. The throw of the TP is also quite low, which doesn't really work with the Rutis (at least for FH anyway). The TP truly shines on wood blades, where you hit hard enough to completely penetrate the top ply and use the 'power ply'. Then you will feel the unmatched speed and spin. I currently use the TP on my BH because I'm developing a unique style of my own :P

Yes, you are mad :P You should be selling one of your Rutis cheaply

Cheers.

I used to have Rutis J... it is more suitable for power chinese style of playing like Ma Long and Wang Liqin. It has good dwell time and unique glass carbon feel unlike normal carbon blades.

Digging up this thread again.

recently i bought a Rutis by mistake....while i was looking for a Tenor.

And so far it has been my best blade ever ....in feel, power, accuracy of positioning, short game long game tall game and dwarf game !!!

and i already have one convert from my club. he is the only one who tested it so far. i'm used Aurus and Bluefire M1 for FH, Baracuda and T64 and Omega 4 Pro on BH. and waiting for my M2.

is it me?
is it Rutis?
is it the piece i bought?
