Although I've already posted my thoughts on this blade before, here is my complete Re-Impact Smart blade review. ;)

Thanks for the review, on top of all your comments on the benefits of the Smart... the large sweet spot & the superb balance gives me enormous control while playing with it :*:

Which Re-Impact blade would you recommend for a middle distance modern defensive game
Using fast Tenergy or Tibhar rubbers in 2,1 or max ?

Kees says that it Does not work Well with fast tensors.

Achim at Re Impact has confirmed that this blade has been discontinued as he is working on improved versions for the ABS ball.

Left me in bit in a quandry as after a bit of research I had decided on the Smart as perhaps their most suitable blade for my style of conventional long stokes FH with medium sponge tensors and block and hit on BH with SP or MP..

Need a blade that can take pace off on the BH when blocking topspin but still be able to attack with.

Yes you're right, and the new version is called Smart 2018. OOAK already has them in the shop, but I've not had a chance to try and compare them.

Not on the German website and Achim did not mention this new Smart version in his reply just new blades he was working on.

Hello, the Smart again can one now order . Only one change in the balsa layer had to be made in order to achieve a harmonic counter-tension in the positions to each other. Instead of a 6 mm layer, i have a 4 mm and a 2 mm layer now used in the core.

Several internal tests have shown that the game properties have improved the existing properties.

The tempo values have remained almost the same in the forehand; only the backhand has become an idea more controlled.

The name of the wood has remained the same for simplicity's sake - because of the slight change.
sincerly, Achim
