Ok, blade analysis is not my forte, but I'll give it a shot  I've only had the blade for a few weeks so this is based on say 3 hours play.

Appearance: good quality. This is a well-constructed blade:

Width: 154
Length: 167
Thickness: 6.0
Weight: around 92g

The cork handle feels very nice and the blade feels pretty good in my hand.

Balance: It felt a little more head-heavy than I'm used to: a lot of this has to do with the size of the blade head being so much bigger. After playing a little though I found I adjusted easily; plus, I could always use a lighter rubber if needed.

Feel: This blade has a nice solid feel when hitting. It's about medium-hard, similiar to my JSH blade, but it has a lot more flex which felt nice when looping off the table.

Playing Characteristics: This is not a slow blade, probably around ALL+ in my opinion. Hitting and looping felt very good with this blade and the short game felt controlled. The main problem I had was with chopping....For some reason I really struggled to keep my chops low enough. The throw of the blade definitely felt different to the JSH, and I was able to adjust on loops, but chopping was a little more difficult.

Overall: I like this blade, but I don't think it's for me. Because I use medium pips to chop, I think I need to be moving in a more controlled direction. Perhaps if I were using a slower, long pips rubber I'd like it more. If you're used to defending with a faster blade than this could be an option. If you are used to defending with say toxic 3, than you'd best look elsewhere. :)

Thanks Joo. Believe me, I was looking for this post for weeks but skipped my eyes for some reason.
I received my LQ-2 just yesterday and now I'm gluing a Hurricane 3 on the forehand and Dawei 388D-1 0.5 mm on the backhand. I don't think I'll be able to test it next week because I have a club championship this Monday. I'll keep you informed with my impressions as soon as possible.

Nice to hear that it was a bit faster than expected, I really hope this blade has the right speed for me.
"If you're used to defending with a faster blade than this could be an option" : This was exactly my idea!!!

no problem. I did try it briefly with long pips (Destroyer 1.0mm) and had much better control for chopping. But when using a pip that requires more careful technique such as short/medium pips, I found it a bit lacking in control, more so than my other blades at least...

I haven't tested it still, but I'm so disspointed. Forehand seems dead compared to backhand!

you mean the two sides of the blade feel different? I'm not sure what you mean...

One thing I noticed with this blade is that the speed kicks in more on harder shots when you hit the sweet spot (it flexes at shoots it back)

I mean that I bounced a ball with the LQ-2 (hirricane 3 2mm) on the forehand and the ball did not bounce as high as when I did it on the backhand with 388D-1. And the same again when I compared it with my current blade, both blades lying on the table and a ball left from let's say 20 cm over them: 3 rebounds for LQ-2 and five or more with my blade!!
It's dissapointing.

that's true, especially if you didn't have the plastic protection sheet on (did you?) cause then the tackiness will slow it down a lot. Also, on a more flexible blade, the speed doesn't show much on test like that...
